Merck
Email Campaign & Digital Asset Design for Global Marketing
Overview
At Merck Group, I worked on designing and managing email campaigns and digital assets for global audiences. The goal was to create visually engaging, responsive, and high-performing designs that aligned with brand guidelines across multiple platforms.
Problem
Managing multiple campaigns across regions (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, China, and ANZ) required consistency, speed, and accuracy. Along with email campaigns, there was a need to design web and video assets for ongoing marketing initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.
My Role
Designed responsive emailers using HTML and Outlook table structures
Created banners, web tiles, and campaign page UI for Merck’s product website (sigmaaldrich.com)
Developed promotional and product videos for marketing campaigns
Designed campaign visuals for Google, LinkedIn, and other platforms
Managed campaign workflows using Jira and Eloqua
Coordinated with global teams and handled approvals via Lytho
Process
I began by understanding campaign requirements, audience needs, and platform constraints. Based on this, I created design solutions that balanced usability and visual impact. Email designs were optimized and tested across platforms, while web and video assets were aligned with campaign goals. Tools like Jira and Eloqua helped track progress and performance, while Lytho streamlined approvals.
